The Nitro Fate is Nitro's best selling womens snowboard and board of choice for team rider Christy Prior. It is a lightweight all mountain board that can take anything in its way. Build to be a versatile, friendly board that will progress with you and last year after year, it has a directional twin shape, meaning the nose and tail are the same length, but a slightly set back stance. This gives it a more versatile, all mountain shape, while still feeling like it rides like a twin. As a mid flexing board with Cam-Out Camber, it is a super forgiving ride but still has the power to lay into your carve or jump to the moon while hitting the jump line in the park.

Board Type: Freestyle - All Mountain

Freestyle snowboards are built for park riders and those who love performing tricks on jumps, rails, and side hits. They feature a true twin shape, which means they ride symmetrically in both directions, making them ideal for riding switch.

All Mountain snowboards are versatile boards that excel across various terrains, from groomed runs to off-piste. They typically feature a directional or directional twin shape, with a medium flex for a balance of stability while still being playful. These boards offer solid edge control and responsiveness, making them a great option for riders who want one board to do just about everything.

Flex: 5/10 (1=soft, 10=stiff)

Offering a balanced blend of flexibility and stiffness, mid-flex boards are versatile and suitable for all-mountain riding. They provide enough responsiveness for carving while maintaining some forgiveness for playful or casual riding.

Ability Level: Intermediate

Intermediate snowboards offer more responsiveness and stability at higher speeds, with a slightly stiffer flex for better control on varied terrain and more advanced manoeuvres.

Shape: Directional Twin

A true twin with a setback stance, this board will ride the same regular or switch but has a stance reference point closer to the tail for better forward facing performance.

Camber Type: Cam-Out Camber

Cam-out camber is basically positive camber with earlier and smoother transition zones in the tip and tail. This gives the board a lower rise in the centre, resulting in a fun and responsive ride with easier turn initiation and more forgiveness, giving you the benefits of camber without the aggression.

Profile: Reflex Core Profile

The Reflex Core Profile features a thinner core profile between your feet to improve handling and increases torsional flex. This allows you to turn your board easier and with more precision.

Standard width boards deliver exceptional edge-to-edge quickness and responsiveness while providing enough platform space for riders with average boot sizes.

Sidecut: Dual Degressive Sidecut

A smaller radius sidecut in the centre along with two larger ones in the tip and tail make it feel loose, playful, and the most forgiving sidecut in the Nitro range.

Inserts: 2x4 Inserts

These offer a tighter hole pattern, allowing for more precise stance adjustments. They're common on modern boards and ideal for riders who want fine-tuned positioning and can be used with any binding with a standard or mini disk.
