When Sidney Dandridge arrived on the Oregon Coast from Nebraska and found herself low on funds, she accidentally found a job working at Montgomery Manor. Clay Montgomery had bought an old house and was restoring it to its former glory; he also had a series of small rooms that he rented out for additional income. He was looking for someone who could cook and clean, and someone with some construction skills.
